HAND BOOK ON CODE OF CONDUCT FOR STUDENTS:

  • Students should abide by the rules and regulations of the college.
  • Punctuality and attendance in the classes, both Honours and General is mandatory for all the students.
  • 75% class-attendance is required to be eligible for university examinations.
  • Students should maintain discipline and silence in the college premises.
  • Mobile phones must be switched off while in the classrooms, labs and in the library. Use of mobile phones during examination is liable for punishment.
  • The students are required to wear and display their identity card at the gate while entering the college premises or attending examination or any other events.
  • Ragging is strictly prohibited within the college premises.
  • Students should not indulge in any kind of malpractices during the examination.
  • Smoking and littering is strictly prohibited on the campus.
  • Students must refrain from mishandling or tampering the library books or the college computer systems.
  • Students are required to follow the Notices put up on the Notice Board carefully for any important announcements and abide by them.
  • Students are expected to treat the members of the staff, both teaching and non- teaching and their fellow students with courtesy both in and out of the college.
  • Students shall not by any means or act, cause damage to the reputation of the institution.
  • Impersonation at roll-call is a punishable offence.
  • Limited parking space for cycles is provided for students and staff. It should be utilized on first come first serve basis. The Institute will not be responsible for the safety (including damage and/or theft /loss) of cycles in the premises.
  • Use of single use plastics in the college campus is to be avoided by the students, teachers as well as the staff of the college.

HAND BOOK ON CODE CONDUCTOR STUDENTS:

  • All the teaching staff should strictly follow the working hours as directed by the authority of the institution.
  • Every teacher should perform their duties as assigned by the authority regarding examinations held within the institution. They should perform duties regarding University examinations along with preparation of question papers, evaluation of answer scripts, preparation of marksheets, uploading of marks. They are also required to perform duties of External Examiners, Head Examiners and Coordinators.
  • The teachers should take initiative and actively participate in Cultural activities, Sports, Social activities, Out-of-campus activities, Field trips and Excursions along with the students to ensure their overall development.
  • Indulgence in any kind of activities that might cause dissatisfaction amongst the teachers on the basis of religion, caste, gender, community and profession should be strictly prohibited.
  • Absence without leave, overstay after the expiry of leave, or leaving the institution without the permission from head of the institution during working hours, should be avoided.

HAND BOOK ON CODE OF CONDUCT FOR NON-TEACHING STAFF:

  • All the non-teaching staff should strictly follow the working hours asdirect by the authority of the institution.
  • Every non-teaching staff should perform their duties as assigned by the authority regarding examinations and other activities held within the institution.
  • All staffs are required to cooperate and assist in carrying out various functions pertainingtoth educational responsibilities during the admission process, sending of papers to the University Registration and examinations, preparing salary bills, maintaining records and other duties required for the smooth functioning of the institution.
  • All staff should spontaneously participate in all the activities organized within the institution.
  • Indulgence in any kind of activities that might cause dissatisfaction amongst the non- teaching staff on the basis of religion, caste, gender, community and profession should be strictly prohibited.
  • Absence without leave, overstay after the expiry of leave, or leaving the institution without the permission from head of the institution during working hours should be avoided.
